Hello Friends,

 

It's been a struggling few years for us all, and while the pandemic has impacted many areas of our lives, current stats show there's a possible chance things will be back to normal soon! Summer is here, and I hope you're taking advantage of this beautiful weather to enjoy yourselves with families and friends. As school districts gear up to return students to in-person schooling next year, we empathize with them to aid students needing further assistance.

 

The opportunity of access to education is an opportunity of a lifetime. But without the proper guidance and alignment of fundamental objectives, one cannot fully grasp their true underlying potentials.  The Glisteners Foundation is fully aware of such dilemmas among students from socially economically disadvantaged backgrounds and strives to lessen the achievement gap that continues to widen year by year. Sadly, students from such experiences are often unable to gain equal access to additional help outside of the classroom, leading them to be at risk of not succeeding academically.

 

As someone who has attended school with classmates from such backgrounds, I have witnessed first-hand how struggling it is for such students to move forth amidst such barriers. At The Glisteners Foundation, we are passionate about providing an opportunity for educational equity. We believe that education requires no measure of wealth but only an effort of will and determination. With our online program, students will receive adequate tutoring from the comforts of their home while providing a sense of relief for parents.

 

A helping hand can create a lifetime of impact. Therefore, we strive to lessen such scholastic barriers to foster hope for students in need.  Through our program and workshop, we hope to open up opportunities for students from all walks of life and instill a sense of belief that every individual, despite their background, holds a light worth shining and sharing with the rest of the world.

 

As president, I am both excited and pleased to announce that our team will push forth every possible effort to fulfill this mission one at a time.
